New Delhi, Sep 01 (ANI): Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways would initiate discussion on new Motor Vehicle Bill in the next session of the parliament. While addressing a gathering of mediapersons in New Delhi, Gadkari stressed upon the need to study the transport laws in developed countries and incorporate essential elements in the new Bill. Highlighting the fact that 64 percent of road accidents take place on state and national highways, Gadkari added it is the primary responsibility of the government to set up research think tanks and also rope in polytechnic institutes to prepare detailed project reports in order to study big and small problems in detail and address all of them to work out a solution.
