Lucknow, Oct 8 (ANI):Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav was re-elected as the party chief on the inaugural day of the Samajwadi Party's national executive meet. This is the ninth time that Mulayam has been chosen as the SP national president. His tenure as SP chief will last for three years. Meanwhile, Janata Dal (United) chief Sharad Yadav's presence at the meet triggered speculations of a possible tie up between the two parties for future polls. The three-day convention, which is likely to be a massive show of strength of the ruling Samajwadi Party, is being held at the newly-built Janeshwar Mishra Park.
