New Delhi/ Udhampur, Mar 02 (ANI): Residents in Kashmir are overjoyed as sudden change in weather pattern brings snowfall to the capital Srinagar city. A blanket of white covered the entire city as temperatures dipped below zero. While many were forced to retreat indoors, others found joy in the snowfall. The sudden change in weather has also resulted in landslides and blockades in some parts of the city. Traders were the most affected as they were stranded on roads due to land slip. With snowfall in Kashmir, many parts of northern India witnessed heavy rainfall. Meteorological department has predicted similar weather conditions for the week ahead. Coupled with high wind, the heavy rainfall has disrupted normal life in states such as Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
