New Delhi, Sep 16 (ANI): Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday called for the development of an informatics supported mechanism for efficient management of natural resources. He was addressing a meet of the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) Governing Board in New Delhi. Javadekar emphasised that India is committed to developing biodiversity informatics as an element of nation’s economic, environment and social well-being. He also said India is in the process of building a comprehensive and decentralised biodiversity information infrastructure to provide compatibility with regional and global initiatives.
