New Delhi/ Chennai, July 22 (ANI): India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday (July 22) sought a probe against former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh after allegations of judicial corruption by a former judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Markandey Katju. Katju alleged that the previous Manmohan Singh government extended the tenure of a corrupt additional judge of the Madras High Court to stay in power after its key ally DMK from Tamil Nadu threatened to pull out. BJP spokesperson, Siddharth Nath Singh refuted charged that the purported judge was appointed first during the BJP rule from 1998 to 2004.
