Bhopal, Aug 08 (ANI): Party workers of Congress staged a protest against the government of Madhya Pradesh on Friday as they demanded rise in pension for the old people. Thousands of widows and old people, along with Congress party workers, held flags and shouted slogans as they encircled the residence of state chief, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in Bhopal. The protesters also presented a memorandum to Sub Divisional Magistrate asking an increase in the pension. Meanwhile, Congress leader Taslim Wahida Lashkari said the pension for poor people should be raised to rupees 1000 and the 400,000 people made ineligible should be made eligible.
