New Delhi, Sept 20 (ANI): Bangladesh foreign minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, on a visit to New Delhi to attend the 3rd meeting of the India Bangladesh Joint Consultative Commission, invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of PM Sheikh Hasina as he recalled the historical, cultural and economic links between the two neighbouring nations. Ali also expressed the hope of further strengthening and deepening relations with India. Foreign Minister Ali extended an invitation on behalf of Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, to Modi to visit Bangladesh. India's northeastern region shares a 1,880-km-long border with Bangladesh and has the potential for developing cross-border trade.
