Jammu, Nov 27 (ANI): Indian army's top official said intelligence inputs suggested that militants along the Line of Control (LoC) and hinterland were trying to disrupt the ongoing election process in Kashmir. General Officer Commanding 16 Corps Lieutenant General KH Singh said that the activities are being carried on with the sole intention of disturbing the ongoing polls in the state. Singh also said that the army is fully equipped and prepared to deal with any such activities along the international border. The assembly segments going to polls include Kishtwar, Inderwal, Doda, Bhaderwah, Ramban and Banihal in Jammu division; Gurez, Bandipora, Sonawari, Kangan and Ganderbal in Kashmir region and Nobra, Leh, Kargil and Zanskar in Ladakh region.
