New Delhi, March 02 (ANI): Congress on Monday appointed Ajay Maken, who led the Congress party in the worst ever defeat in Delhi Assembly elections, as the Delhi Congress Pradesh Committee (DPCC) chief. The rejig was in continuation to Rahul Gandhi's campaign of revamping the beleaguered party. Speculations are rife that Rahul's sister Priyanka Gandhi will soon join active politics by accepting a general secretary post in the Congress party. This was, however, denied by Priyanka's office. Reacting on the same, party leader PC Chacko said that Maken will take charge of the office immediately.
