Malkangiri, June 17 (ANI): Activists used puppetry as a medium to spread awareness about the use of technology for development in red corridor of Odisha. Volunteers of a nongovernmental organization (NGO) CGnet Swara held puppet shows on the streets of Malkangiri district in a bid to make the tribals aware about the correct use of technology at times of trouble. Puppet shows were conducted to educate the locals about usage of mobile phones as a medium to get connected with people across the country. Tribals were being taught how to record their messages in the mobile phones related to the various problems they face on a day to day basis. The messages are then sent to workers of the NGO who then verify it and make reports available for journalists and policy makers in order work out a solution.
