Tripura/ Assam, April 12 (ANI): Voters in Tripura and Assam stood in long serpentine queues on Saturday to cast their vote as the states go in for the general elections that will determine the fate of over 1.2 billion people. As the day progressed, number of voters outside the polling stations began swelling in Tripura. Hoping for a stable government, a first-time voter, Arvind, lauded high women turnout. Meanwhile, voting is also underway in three constituencies of Assam. Polling for other five constituencies in the state was held on April 07.
