After getting fantastic reviews for the teaser and first single of "24," the makers are now getting ready to release the trailer of the Suriya-starrer movie.

As per a report on Behindwoods, the makers of "24" are planning to release the video next week. The team is waiting for the completion of VFX and the work on the trailer will only begin once it is completed. The report adds that the clip will be of around two minutes.

Understanding that there is huge expectation from the trailer post the success of the teaser, the makers are believed to be taking extra care to churn out a good video. Adding to that, the single "Kaalam En Kadhali" ("Kaalam Na Priyasi" in Telugu) too garnered positive reviews.

Suriya will be seen in multiple roles in the movie and the teaser had given a glimpse to all the characters that he plays in the Tamil film.

Of all the roles it is Athreya, which drew the attention of the viewers. It had eye-grabbing visuals, powerful one-liners and stunning background score by two-time Oscar Award winner AR Rahman. Prawin Pudi was praised for his brilliant editing of the teaser.

Following the trailer release, the makers will gear up for the music launch function, which will be held March 28 in Hyderabad. It is reported that the songs of both Tamil and Telugu versions will be simultaneously released.

However, the makers are yet to lock in a date for the film release. Earlier, it was said that "24" would appear before the audience April 14. As Vijay's "Theri" is seeing the light of the day on Tamil New Year, the release plans of Suriya's film have reportedly undergone changes. It is now likely to release in the last week of April.

"24" is written and directed by Vikram Kumar of "Yavarum Nalam" fame. The science-fiction has Samantha and Nithya Menen in the female lead roles.
