The trailer of much-awaited Mammootty film "Rajadhi Raja" is released.
It begins with Shekaran Kutty ( Mammootty) who is haunted by police by no fault of his. And it takes a turn by showing Shekaran Kutty who is in a revenge mode. This is followed by series of fight sequences, which will enthral the audience.
The film is directed by debutant Ajai Vasudev and the trailer has assured the film to be a mass entertainer with lot of fight sequences.
With the release of this trailer, Mammootty is on a roll. His last release, "Manglish" was also a mass film. The film, which was released on 27 July as the Eid release has turned out to be a huge hit and is still running successfully in theatres across the world.
Mammootty is also awaiting the release of his other film "Munnaraiyuppu" from the award-winning cinematographer turned director Venu on 22 August.
Meanwhile, "Rajadhi Raja" is slated to be released on 5 September.
Mammootty plays the character of Shekaran Kutty, a petrol pump owner in the film and the film is said to be along the lines his previous mass films "Pokkiri Raja" and Raja Manikyam". Laxmi Raai will play the character of Radha, who is Shekaran Kutty's wife and a mother of an eight-year-old girl. Radha is a very homely lady at the same time she is vey bubbly and bold.
Raai had earlier acted with Mammootty for films like "Annan Thambi" (2008), "Parunthu" (2008) and "Chattambinaadu" (2009) and was proved as a successful pair. The actress is appearing in a Malayalam film after a gap of more than a year. Her last Malayalam film was "Aaru Sundarimarude Kadha" which was released on May 2013.
"Rajadhi Raja" also has the star cast of Siddhique, Joy Mathew, Lena, Joju George, Mukesh Khanna, Bheeman Raghu, Babu Namboothiri, Rahul Dev and Taniya Stanely playing pivotal roles. The film will also see Shamna Khasim making a cameo appearance with an item dance. Unni Mukundan will also make a cameo appearance in one of the song sequence.
The script for "Rajadhi Raja" is written by Uday Krishna and Siby K Thomas who had earlier worked in "Thuruppu Gulan", "Twenty 20", "Ee Pattanathil Bhootham", "Pokkiri Raja", and "Kammath and Kammath" with Mammootty.
The music of "Rajadhi Raja" is composed by Karthik Raja and Berny Ignatious and the background scores are done by Gopi Sundar. The cinematography of the film is handled by Shaji and was edited by Mahesh Narayanan. The stunts for the film are done by Stun Siva.
The film is produced by MK Naseer and Stanely CS under the banner of Goodline Productions.
