Touch me not? Melania refuses to hold hands with Donald Trump; swats his hand away in Tel Aviv [VIDEO]

First Lady of the United States of America Melania Trump has been making news since November 2016 for various reasons right from her sense of style to her handwriting when she wrote a letter to actress Pamela Anderson. One of the most talked about incidents was when Melania seemed to have a scowl on her face during husband Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony as the president of US. While we thought that was it, here comes another bit of a shocker.

Melania, who is on an international tour as the first lady of US with President Donald Trump, touched down in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Monday. The duo was received by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara who walked the red carpet along with their guests. While Netanyahu and his wife Sara looked pleased to receive their guests and walked hand in hand, the same cannot be said about the Trumps.

In a video, which has now gone viral on social media, Donald is seen trying to reach out and hold Melania's hand, but seconds later the first lady seems to have swatted away her husband's hand. Ouch! That must have hurt especially when cameras seem to have adeptly caught the moment.

Well, to give them the benefit of the doubt, it does look like Melania didn't really realise that her husband was reaching out for her hand and it could be a miscommunication in general. However, Twitter evidently is having a field day mocking the incident.

Meanwhile, a lot of the social media users are also drawing comparisons between Donald and Melania Trump and former president Barack Obama and Michelle. They cannot stop raving about how dignified and respectful the Obamas were compared to the Trumps.

Another hot topic of discussion that has of late made headlines is how Melania gave the headscarf a miss when she landed in Saudi Arabia. Social media users mocked Donald Trump for earlier slamming Michelle Obama for not wearing a headscarf when she visited the country whereas Melania too did not wear one during her visit.
