Gaya, Nov 24 (ANI): Senior police officials conducted a high-level meeting in Gaya district of Bihar to discuss strategies and foster better coordination to wipe out Naxalism from the state. Police as well as paramilitary personnel attended the meet during which officials discussed and deliberated on the ways to combat the rebels to lead to fruitful results. The Maoists, who say they are fighting for the rights of the poor and landless, control some of India's mineral-rich areas and operate in large swathes of the eastern, central and southern countryside.
