New Delhi, Aug 13 (ANI): Top Indian sportspersons, cricketer Virender Sehwag and boxer Mary Kom will be running a marathon 'unity' launched by India's paramilitary, the Central Reserve Police Force on the occasion of 75 years of its raising. Ace Indian cricketer, Sehwag said he was glad to be a part of such an event that unites the nation. Olympian boxer, Mary Kom, said she felt blessed to be a part of a sporting event as she was fond of all types of sports. The paramilitary force, which is celebrating 75 years of its raising this year, will conduct a half-marathon called 'Run for Unity' in New Delhi on October 12. Apart from Sehwag and champion boxer Mary Kom, about three lakh personnel force would be getting in touch with a host of sportspersons and celebrities to take the track in solidarity with the trooper on ground and its martyrs.
