The co-producers of Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Shital Bhatia and Neeraj Pandey of Friday Filmworks and Plan C, are excited to bring their next venture to the fans. They have now revealed that the trailer will be launched on June 11.

Friday Filmworks and Plan C have worked on movies like A Wednesday, Special 26, Baby, M.S. Dhoni, Rustom and Naam Shabana among many others. All the films under these banners have worked on subjects that have a real life touch.

A Wednesday talked about terror problems faced by commoners, Special 26 was a real life story brought to reel life, wherein M.S. Dhoni was a biopic of Dhoni.

For the first time, the banners are trying their hands at a satirical comedy. The two studios always try to bring to screen exciting idea that not only entertain but also induce thoughts.

Akshay Kumar-starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fits perfectly in their scheme of ideas with the film being a take on the problem of open defecation in the country in sync with the government's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The film stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. Akshay Kumar and Shital-Neeraj would be pairing up for the fifth time after having worked together for Special 26, Rustom, Baby and Naam Shabana.
