After wrapping up the shooting of Sathyan Anthikad's family entertainer, Jomonte Suvisheshangal, young actor Dulquer Salmaan has joined the team of his upcoming bilingual movie. Seeking the support of audience, the actor has also confirmed that the Bejoy-directorial will hit the screens next year.
"Started another ambitious project today with none other that the very talented, the very celebrated director Bejoy Nambiar. Most of you may think it's a Hindi film but it's going to be made in Malayalam and Tamil ! It's a very novel idea. Something we are gonna be trying for the first time. It will be shot over a couple of schedules, so it'll release sometime next year. But one thing we will guarantee you is that it'll be great cinema. As always seeking your love and support [sic]," Dulquer wrote on his social media page, while sharing the photos of the pooja ceremony that was attended by the cast and crew of Solo.
Bejoy had earlier revealed that his Malayalam project will be based on a different subject that the Kerala audience are not familiar with. He had earlier helmed a Malayalam short film named Rahu in 2008 and Mohanlal-starrer silent short film Reflections. Solo is being bankrolled by Abaam films in association with Getaway films
Meanwhile, Dulquer who recently completed the work of Sathyan Anthikad movie in Thrissur, has also shared his excitement in being part of a wonderful film. Through one of his recent social media posts, the actor also thanked the cast and crew of Jomonte Suvisheshangal, which also stars Mukesh and Anupama Parameshwaran in main roles.
Completed the dubbing and thereby wrapped up a wonderful film called Jomonte Suviseshangal ! I feel extremely blessed to have been a part of the film. It's filled with fun, love, joy, difficulties, loss, just like how life is ! I want to thank Sathyan Sir for even considering me for the role. He was one of my childhood heros ! And he's an even bigger hero for me now. Full of fun, positivity and the best jokes and anecdotes, but at the same time complete clarity about shoot. Absolute learning experience for me. Sad the film came to an end. Such an awesome team both cast and crew. Everyone put in their best. Special love to Kumar Sir, Mukeshettan, Innocent Uncle, Anupama & Aishwarya, Akhil, Kunjunni, Sethu Ettan and every single member of the film ! I know this is a long post. But a part of me doesn't want to stop. Anyway I'm sure all of you will love the film
