Shraddha Kapoor has recorded a number of songs for the movie Rock On 2 and that has made her mother extremely proud of the actress.
Shraddha's mother Shivangi belongs to a musical family, and her improvement in the singing domain has made the latter much happy.
"My mom, being a fabulous singer herself, has always helped me sing better each time with her honest feedback. But this time around, for Rock On 2, she just said she was super proud. Her favourite track of mine from the films is Udja Re," Shraddha said in a statement.
Shivangi's father Pandharinath Kolhapure was a talented vocalist and veena player and she is the niece of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.
Apart from Udja Re, Shraddha's Tere Mere Dil song from Rock On 2 has also been liked by audience. The 29-year-old has successfully become an actress-cum-singer in a short span of time.
Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, Rock On 2 also features Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai, among others. The film is a sequel to Rock On and is slated for release on November 11.
