The industry expected "Theri" to perform well as the advance booking of tickets were met with stupendous response from the audience.

Among many overseas centres, the Tamil film has also done good business in France and Malaysia. The flick has reportedly done well in centres like Sri Lanka, Germany, Australia and U.A.E.
Atlee Kumar's "Theri" is an action-packed emotional movie, which has Samantha and Amy Jackson in the female leads. Mahendran plays the baddie in the film, which has Prabhu, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Baby Nainika, Santhanam, Rajendran, Kaali Venkat and others in the cast.
