The fans of Vijay were left disappointed after the teaser of the actor's forthcoming Tamil film "Theri" was postponed twice in January. But February will be an exciting month as the actor has planned double delight for them.

Vijay's fans have two reasons to celebrate as the teaser and the audio of his "Theri" will be out in February. While the video will thrill them in the first week of the month, the songs are set to surface by the end of the month.

Trade tracker Sreedhar Pillai has announced the news tweeting, "#Theri teaser likely to be premiered on Feb 5. Audio by Feb end. Release April 14." It means that Vijay's fans will have a memorable February before the film gets ready for the release for Tamil New Year in April.

Originally, the teaser was planned to be released for Pongal. Later, it was pushed to Republic Day. On both the occasions, the makers failed to release the video as the shooting could not be wrapped up on time, causing delay in the teaser release.

At present, the director and the editor are busy with the teaser works. It would be a 50-second-long video, which is expected to be a power-packed clip showcasing Vijay in multiple avatars. The makers are taking special care to ensure the main plot is not revealed in the teaser itself.

Some of the big films in recent years had given away more information than required, making the audience predict the storyline of the films.

"Theri", directed by Atlee Kumar, tells the story of a cop played by Vijay. While Samantha plays the role of a doctor, Amy Jackson will be seen portraying a teacher. The interesting part of the cast is that Ilayathalapathy's daughter Divya has made her acting debut in the Tamil flick.
