There's something cooking between Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane?

More than the films he does, Ranbir Kapoor makes most headlines from the relationship rumours that surround him at all times. The young actor has apparently taken fancy to a star from across the border.

According to a DNA report, Mawra Hocane has impressed not just Ranbir but also his family. While Rishi and Neetu Kapoor are fond of the actress, elder sister Ridhima Kapoor Sahni has gifted her with an evil-eye bracelet, which she flaunted on social media. The daily also reported that there may be something "cooking" between the celebs.

Ranbir had sent a few-minute-long video to Mawra, wishing her the best, SpotboyE reported. This was a year ago and on Imtiaz Ali's request, whose ex-girlfriend Iman Ali is a close friend of Mawra. The clip is making headlines now.

This comes after reports of Ranbir dating Delhi-based girl Bharti Malhotra. She opened up to publications and rubbished the news saying she was already seeing someone.

Ranbir is known not to issue clarifications, which could be a reason why he is casually linked to actresses. Kangana Ranaut and Ranbir were briefly reported as an item, however, an insider cleared the air saying the actor is furious about the rumours coming out of nowhere.

"He is upset that people are taking advantage of the fact that he doesn't issue clarifications. There is no truth in the stories of Ranbir and Kangana's affair, yet in a very systematic manner this is being spread in media. He knows who is behind these rumours and if this continues, he is considering issuing a strong denial this time," DNA quoted the source as saying.

Ranbir was apparently in a relationship with Katrina Kaif; they had moved in together but shortly parted ways.
