Bhubaneswar, Nov 7 (ANI): Theatre artists from across the country converged in Odisha to take part in a five-day national theatre festival. The festival, Purva Ranga, or 'Colours of the East', which is concluding today, attracted many spectators to Bhubaneswar city. President of Odisha Natya Sangh, Dhira Mallik, said that they had organised this festival with an aim to portray artists on national level. The festival was organised by Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy under the aegis of state tourism and culture department in collaboration with Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata. A director of Amateur Theatre Group, Mushtaq Kak, said that youth taking up theatre should come with a clean mindset as they are only keen to join silver screen actors rather than being natural artists. Performers from Jammu and Kashmir staged a play named-'An Accidental Death'- an adaptation of Dario Fo's 'Accidental Death of an Anarchist'.
