A couple of photos from Ajith's forthcoming movie, which is being presently referred to as "Thala 57" or "AK 57," have hit the internet. It is believed that someone from the sets has released the images online.
Ajith, with his "Thala 57" unit, is currently shooting in Austria. The pictures give a glimpse at the actor's look in the Tamil film and it is now confirmed that he is continuing with his tried and tested salt-and-pepper look in the forthcoming film.
The fans of Ajith, who have been waiting to get a sneak peek of his character, have happily welcomed the development by setting trends on Twitter. The actor's look has impressed them and they are hoping for more such pictures on a regular basis.
The actor plays the role of an interpol officer in "Thala 57." The film deals with a crime that occurs in Tamil Nadu and the hero, who wants to get to the root of the issue, investigates the case, which takes him to Europe.
The shooting was kick-started on Aug. 2 in Belgrade and majority of the film will be shot in Europe. The "Thala 57" unit will return to India in mid-September.
Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan are playing the female leads in "Thala 57." However, the film's antagonist is yet to be signed. The makers have approached a few top names, including Prasanna and Aravind Swamy and both the actors are yet to give their consent.
Anirudh Ravichander is the music director, Anthony Ruben is the editor and Vetri is the cinematographer in the film.
Siruthai Siva is collaborating with Ajith for the third time, after "Veeram" and "Vedalam." Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the movie, which is expected to be released in April 2017.
