Actor Ajith had suffered an injury on the sets of his forthcoming Tamil movie, which is presently called by the name "Thala 56". But despite the injury, the actor took part in the shooting and helped the film's unit complete the shooting as per plan.

There are reports that Ajith hurt his neck while performing a risky stunt sequence. The mishap took place during the filming of the action sequence and he was immediately treated on the sets.

Despite the pain, the actor is said to have returned to shooting. As a result, the "Thala 56" team could complete the key portions of the shooting without any delay. It has to be noted that the makers want to release the film on Diwali and hence have limited time on their hands.

Ajith often prefers shooting action sequence on his own without using a body double and has been injured several times in the recent year. It may be recalled that the actor was hurt on the sets of films like "Arrambam" and "Billa 2".

Meanwhile, the second schedule of "Thala 56" is being carried out at a brisk pace. Ajith, Shruti Haasan, Kabir Duhan Singh and many others are taking part in the filming.

"Thala 56" is a sentimental story about a brother-sister relationship. Ajith and Lakshmi Menon are playing the roles of siblings. Shruti Haasan, who is the female lead in the movie, is reportedly doing the role of a taxi driver.
