Ajith's "Thala 56" with director Sirtuthai Siva is yet to start, but there have been several rumours doing the rounds about the project.

The latest buzz is about the film's music composer - It is being speculated that popular music director Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the tracks for "Thala 56" as the director wishes to work with him.

The composer has worked in several of Ajith's films including "Dheena," "Mankatha," Billa," Billa 2," "Aegan" and "Arrambam." There will be huge expectations if the composer teams up with Ajith for "Thala 56" as they have delivered big hits. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.

The shooting of "Thala 56" is expected to commence in January 2015. According to latest reports, the film will be set in an urban background, unlike the director's last release "Veeram", which had a rural set-up.

Earlier, there were rumours that Hansika has been roped in as the female lead opposite "Thala 56". But, the director refuted them and stated that he is yet to finalise the lead heroine. The latest buzz is that "Thala 56" will have two female leads and the team is on the look-out for the leading ladies.

AM Ratnam will be funding the film and it will be a hat-trick for the producer and Ajith after "Arrambam" and "Yennai Arindhaal." Santhanam is confirmed to play a pivotal role in the film, while details about the other cast and crew members are still awaited. The film is expected to hit the screens for Diwali 2015.

Meanwhile, Ajith's upcoming film "Yennai Arindhaal" is progressing and is in the final leg of its shooting. The shooting is expected to be completed by this month end, after which the post-production works will begin.

The first-look posters of "Yennai Arindhaal" have created a lot of expectations surrounding the project and fans are now waiting for the film's teaser and the audio launch.

Music composer Harris Jayaraj , in a recent interaction with fans, has confirmed that the film's audio will be released as soon as the tracks are done. Buzz is that the audio launch will happen in mid-December, while the film's teaser will be releasing on 27 November.

Directed by Gautham Menon, "Yennai Arindhaal" is an action entertainer that traces the life of the hero from his young age till he turns 38. Ajith plays the role of a cop and will be seen sporting four different looks in the film. Anushka Shetty has teamed up for the first time opposite Thala, while Trisha will be sharing screen space with the actor for the fourth time.

The film is expected to hit the screens for Pongal 2015.
