US tennis star Serena Williams played in the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) second leg in Manila on 6 December and said it was good preparation for next season. Williams won her singles match for the Philippine Mavericks, her first competitive game since being knocked out of the US Open in September by unseeded Robert Vinci. Andy Murray very proud over Britains Davis Cup win

World number two Andy Murray said he was very proud on Monday (30 November) after he sealed Britains first Davis Cup title for 79 years with a brilliant 6-3 7-5 6-3 defeat of Belgiums David Goffin in a fever-pitch atmosphere at Ghents Flanders Expo on Sunday (29 November).
