Serena Williams and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian are expecting their first child later this year and with the 23-time Grand Slam champion seven months pregnant at the moment you would expect her to sit and relax. But the former world no.1 is not letting her pregnancy come between her and what she loves doing.

The 2017 Australian Open winner, who won the first Grand Slam of the year despite being eight-weeks pregnant, seems determined to get back on the tennis court as soon as possible. Serena is seven months pregnant at the moment but that did not stop her from getting back onto the tennis court and get a few shots in.

The 35-year-old posted a video on Instagram of her hitting a few balls and also showed off her famous backhand and returned every shot perfectly and did not even seem out of breath after the session. Serena is expected to get back on the court next year with the 2018 French Open reportedly set to be her first tournament back.

Serena is widely considered as the most successful player in the Open Era and if it was not for her pregnancy she would have probably won the French Open this year and levelled Margaret Court's all-time record of 24 Grand Slam titles.

After Serena posted the video, her fans could not believe that she decided to get a practice session despite being seven months pregnant.

Meanwhile, after Serena's sister Venus Williams referred to her future niece or nephew as "she" in an interview, the 35-year-old and Ohanian revealed they have decided not to find out the sex of the child.

"I think the surprise of knowing what you are going to have on that very special day you give birth is prob the best surprise you can ever have!" she wrote in an Instagram post.
