The title and the logo of the Telugu version of "Theri" will be revealed next week. It was supposed to be released Saturday, March 26, but the plans seem to have been changed in the last minute.

The delay in the release has been confirmed by journalist Haricharan Pudipeddi on Twitter. He wrote on Twitter, "Title and logo of #TheriTelugu will be officially announced next week via @SVC_official. Stay tuned for more updates. #Theri #Vijay. [sic]"

Riaz K Ahmed had announced on Twitter earlier that the makers would make a formal announcement Saturday, March 26. He wrote, "Title and logo of #TheriTelugu will be officially announced next week via @SVC_official. Stay tuned for more updates. #Theri #Vijay. [sic]"

The theatrical rights of Telugu version has been acquired by leading producer/distributor Dil Raju. He has reportedly paid a fancy price for the rights.

Meanwhile, Kalaipuli S Dhanu has sold the theatrical rights of Coimbatore region for Monica Films. Cosmo Films Siva was the frontrunner to bag the rights, but he backed out of the project after the producer reportedly demanded a huge amount.

It must be noted that Siva was associated with Vijay's films for the last couple of years and had also distributed Vijay's previous movie "Puli," which had bombed at the box office.

However, the rights of Canada and the U.S. have been acquired by Cine Galaxy and the producer is expected to finalise the deal over Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu rights by the end of this weekend.

On the other hand, the trailer of "Theri" has reached the 5 million mark on YouTube. It has also got over 2 lakh likes and more than 16,000 dislikes for the video.

"Theri" will be out April 14. Atlee Kumar's flick stars Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson in the lead roles.
