The Telangana State Board of Secondary Examination (TSBSE) announced the results of SSC class 10 board examinations on its official website on Wednesday.
A total of 5,38,226 students applied for the SSC exam this year and of them 5 lakh students appeared for the exams. Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari declared the results of the examinations at 4 pm.
The overall pass percentage this year is 84.15 percent and like every year, girls have had the upper hand in the results. Around 82.95 percent of the boys have passed the class 10 exams this year, while the pass percentage of girls stands at 85.37 percent. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website of TSBSE.

Last year, 86.57 was the pass percentage of girls while that of boys stood at 84.70 percent. As many as 5.19 lakh candidates had appeared for the 2016 examination. This year, English paper was leaked and circulated on WhatsApp minutes after the examination began.
