Is Taylor Swift secretly dating British actor Joe Alwyn?

Taylor Swift is reportedly dating British actor Joe Alwyn for months and she has been apparently very secretive about it. People close to the celebrity couple stated that the two of them are very serious about their relationship and they prefer to keep it a secret affair. The 27-year-old American singer tried all sorts of things to keep her blossoming romance out of the spotlight, an industry insider was reported as saying.

"Taylor and Joe are the real deal, this is a very serious relationship. But after what happened with Tom Hiddleston, they were determined to keep it quiet. Taylor has flown in via private jets and her security has made it a military-like mission to prevent her from being seen," a source told The Sun.

The insider also stated that the Shake It Off singer made sure that no one recognised her during their romantic dates in London.

"She's been walking around with Joe in London using disguises, like scarves and hats, to keep her identity under wraps. Nobody has a clue they've been walked past a music superstar – not even her new neighbours," the source said.

The American singer, who was romantically, linked with actor Jake Gyllenhaal, One Direction star star Harry Styles, British DJ Calvin Harris and English actor Tom Hiddleston, apparently has a reason to keep her relationship with Alwyn a secret.

"After her 1989 tour and all the attention Taylor received, she learned she had to be more protective of her personal life and she and Joe decided early on to keep their private life private," the insider said.

The source even stated that the romance between Swift and the British actor is not a secret relationship or a couple alert for the people close to them.

"The only people this has been a secret to is the media because all of us, Taylor and Joe's closest friends and their families, were aware they have been together for several months and have known each other for a longtime," a person close to them said.
