Tata Motors has started teasing its new Zica hatchback prior to the global unveiling in India this week.

After releasing images of Zica popularly called as Kite in India earlier this week, Tata has released a new video, giving an early glimpse at the interior of the model. In the video, what is immediately apparent are the dashboard and instrument cluster of Zica.

The cabin of the Zica is not different from what the auto aficionados have already been privy to, stemming from countless spy shots of Zica in its revealed and camouflaged avatar. The Zica shows off an instrument cluster similar to the Zest and Bolt, and seems to have got the same Eco and City driving modes. The video also shows the multifunctional steering wheel of the new Zica with voice control buttons. There is also a hexagonal centre console with infotainment system.

The hatchback is expected to get height-adjustable driver seat, dual front airbags and ABS with EBD. The Zica's features list is also expected to include electrically adjustable ORVMs and rear defogger.

To be offered in both petrol and diesel engines, under the hood, Zica is expected to include a new 1.05-litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel motor that can churn out 64.1bhp and 140Nm of torque, and an all-new 1.2-litre petrol engine. The transmission duty in Zica is likely to be handled by a five speed gearbox, and there could be an AMT variant on offer as well.
