A fresh batch of spy shots of Tata's soon-to-be-launched hatchback Zica popularly known as Kite has started doing the rounds, not long after the first press images of the model were released by the company.

Tata Zica, the hatchback based on the Indica platform, is expected to make its global debut in India this week and now ahead of its official unveiling, here comes yet another set of spy shots of the model, adding to the long list of spy images of Zica before its launch.

From the latest images, the most intriguing part is that Tata Zica which is seen here donned in White body shade is the base variant of the model. Thanks to Encartor-Tanay for sharing these pictures.

The base variant of Tata Zica features a black front and rear bumpers with steel wheels and back door handles. The model gets chrome-lip line on the front-grille and shows body-coloured wing mirrors with integrated turn signals, a rear wiper and washer.

Tata Zica, a completely new and freshly styled hatchback from the makers of Nano is expected to fall in the price range of Rs 3.6 lakh to 5.2 lakh. To rival the segment's frontrunners including Maruti Celerio, WagonR, Hyundai i10 and Chevrolet beat, Zica will be available in both petrol and diesel engines.

From what we know so far, under the bonnet, the new Zica from Tata is expected to include a new 1.05-litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel motor that can churn out 64.1bhp and 140Nm of torque, and an all-new 1.2-litre petrol engine.
