Less than a year after successfully launching its first Zest sedan in India, Tata Motors has expended its Zest range in India with the addition of a new top-end diesel variant Zest XTA.

Priced at ₹8.07 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi, the new Zest XTA sits above the XT trim. It comes with all the features of XT and is powered by Zest XT diesel is powered by 1.3-litre multijet motor, which is tuned to churn out 90PS of power at 4000rpm and 200Nm of peak torque from 1750-3000rpm. The model claims a fuel efficiency of 21.58 kmpl

The feature list includes Harman Kardon ConnectNext touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate controls, voice commands, dual airbags, rear-parking sensors, adjustable driver seats, rear defogger and daytime-running lights.

The automobile website Autocar Professional reports that the dealers of Tata have started accepting the booking for the new Zest AMT variant and apparently, the variant currently commands a waiting period of 2-4 weeks.

Launched on 12 August, Tata Zest sedan is also offered in petrol engine option in the country. Under the hood, the petrol model of Zest packs turbocharged 1.2-litre Revotron engine, which is tuned to produce a 90PS (88.73bhp) of power and 140nm of torque.
