Tata Motors has been perfecting its upcoming Hexa crossover and caught testing many times this year. A latest spy picture shows the side profile of the Tata vehicle with less camouflage.

The picture shot by TeamBHP shows black cladding over the wheel arches, bottom of doors and front and rear bumpers. The Hexa in spy picture also fitted with five twin spoke alloy wheels wrapped in R19 tyres.

The Hexa will measure 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width and 1,780 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Powering the Hexa will be a 2.2-litre four-cylinder VARICOR diesel engine, which is tuned to generate 154bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,700 to 2,700rpm. The engine comes mated to either a 6-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission. The crossover will be equipped with four driving modes- Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road.

On design, the Tata vehicle will come with a bold design and sharp cosmetic features in line with the new design philosophy of Tata Motors christened as The Impact. The front of the MPV will feature dual hexagonal patterned front grille with chrome accents. The smoked projector headlamps, fog lamps and daytime running lamps will add premium touch at the front, while rear will flaunt wraparound LED tail lamps, integrated spoiler and roof rails.

The Hexa will be packed with 5-inch TFT touchscreen infotainment system from Harman, compatible with USB, iPod, SD card, Aux and Bluetooth audio. On the safety front, the crossover will boast of with six airbags, anti-lock brake system (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD).
