Tata Hexa, the MPV that is expected to make its market entry in October, has already become a common sighting on Indian roads. The Hexa was spied numerous times, in its partly covered, fully camouflaged and even in its fully revealed form. Now, coming here is another set of images and a new video of the Hexa, this time showing the model in its fully undisguised form.

While there is nothing much to talk about the styling and design of the model as the auto enthusiasts have been seeing it for quite some time now, the latest set of images and the video of the Hexa tell us that the arrival of the model is not too far off. The spotted model could also be on its way to dealerships in the company for test drive or training purposes. While the filmed prototype was seen donned in blue shade, the photographed test mule was seen in ivory shade. The images were shared by Team BHP.

Tata had showcased the Hexa at the Auto Expo 2016 in February and the model has been undergoing tests in the country since then. The Hexa, what is known as the copiously tweaked Aria, is expected to come with wrap-around LED tail lamps, door claddings, dual-coloured wheel arches, integrated spoiler and roof rails. Other features expected include dual hexagonal-patterned front grille with chrome accents on the front and smoked projector headlamps, fog lamps and daytime running lamps.

Under the hood, the Hexa will now be launched with 2.2-litre engine that is tuned to generate 154bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,700 to 2,700rpm. The engine will come mated to either a six-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission. We also hear that Tata is also working on a 1.9 litre diesel engine, which could make its debut in Hexa.
