Tata Motors' upcoming Hexa MPV is one of the most anticipated cars of this year. Tata is expected to launch the new Hexa in the coming months, probably in July. The Hexa has been going through rigorous testing in the country since its India debut at the Auto Expo 2016 in February, and now the MPV has been spied testing once again, this time in Pune.

Snapped by GaadiWaadi, the latest set of images shows three Hexa test mules, and like before, in completely camouflaged avatar. Though the images do not have anything new to reveal, the repeated sightings of the Hexa on Indian roads indicate the imminent arrival of the model.

As we have known for some time, the Hexa, the facelifted avatar of the Aria, embodies Tata's new Impact design philosophy. It measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width and 1,780 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. From a visual stand point, the Hexa gets projector headlamps, an LED tail lamp cluster and a honeycomb front-grille.

Under the hood, the Hexa comes with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder VARICOR diesel engine, which is tuned to generate 154bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,700 to 2,700rpm. The engine comes mated to either a 6-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission.

As for features, expect the Hexa to accommodate 5-inch TFT touchscreen infotainment system from Harman, compatible with USB, iPod, SD card, Aux and Bluetooth audio along with safety features such as six airbags, and anti-lock brake system (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD).

When launched, the Hexa will take on the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta and Renault Lodgy in India and is expected to be priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh.
