The four-day box office collection of "Tamasha" is better than Ranbir's last two releases -- "Roy" and "Bombay Velvet". The film has also shattered the records of Shahid Kapoor starrer "Shaandaar" (Rs 43.13 crore) in India.

Worldwide box office

The Ranbir-Deepika starrer fared well at the worldwide box office, crossing Rs 65 crore mark in four days. The opening weekend overseas box office collection stands at $3.45 million (Rs. 22.40 crore), while the four-day domestic income is Rs 43.30 crore.

At the overseas box office, the film has recorded the third highest opening weekend collection. Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" are the top two biggest grosser films overseas.

"Tamasha" will soon reach the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office. The film should touch the Rs 100 crore mark by its second weekend at the worldwide box office.
