Dhaka, Oct 04 (ANI): Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday said her discussions with her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on several issues concerning both the countries in the United Nations were fruitful. During a news conference in Dhaka, Hasina said it was her first meeting with Modi after he came to power in May. She added the bilateral talks with the Indian Prime Minister took place in a very warm and friendly environment. Hasina said Modi praised her attempts for preventing militancy in Bangladesh. Modi talked about issues related to Teesta River and land boundaries with Bangladesh during his first meeting with Hasina. Hasina added that Modi assured to collaborate in several developmental works in Bangladesh and promised to help in the issues concerning trade transit between Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
