Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash) of "Swaragini" is all set to shock the viewers with a drastic makeover.
Talking to a leading web portal, an insider said how her desi look will be taken over by stylish sarees and differently stitched blouses. While the reason behind this transformation is unknown, what might excite some is the idea of Ragini sporting a completely new avatar.
"As an actor I have no problems donning any look as far as it does not affect my performance. We have altered the look for the audience to know that she is not the same 'desi girl' that they saw earlier. I think people have loved Ragini in every change that she has had and I hope the audience continues to love me in future as well," Tejaswi told India-Forums.
This isn't the first time that a show's central character has undergone such a change. A few months ago, Sriti Jha aka Pragya of "Kumkum Bhagya" switched from being the petite wife to the stern and fashionable owner of the Mehra mansion.
However, this switch was only to make Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) realise how his sister, Aaliya (Shikha Singh) and girlfriend, Tanu (Leena Jumani) have been fooling him with false stories.
Similarly, in "Swaragini", the family is busy figuring out the mystery behind Ragini's kidnapping. Is this why she'll go for the makeover or is it to bring some freshness to the script? Only time will tell.
