Television actors who work round-the-clock rarely get time to celebrate festivals with their families. But, recently Namish Taneja aka Lakshya of "Swaragini" made a special arrangement where he could celebrate his favourite festival - Lohri.

The popular actor invited his "Swaragini" co-actors, whom he considers to be his extended family, to celebrate the festival at his home in Mumbai.

Talking about his past Lohri celebrations, Namish told Mid-Day: "Being a Punjabi, I always look forward to celebrate Lohri with my near and dear ones. When I was in Delhi, we used to have get together at home and do bhangra around the rising flames of the bonfire. I was missing the fun, so I made an impromptu plan and invited my co-stars home."

Among the "Swaragini" cast members who celebrated the festival at Namish's home were Nikita Sharma, who plays the role of Kavita, Sonika Handa aka Sujata, Amar Sharma (Ram Prasad), Aakanksha Chamola (Parineeta), Tarun Singh (Adarsh) and Khyati Mangla (Uttara).

However, the show's lead couple -- Helly Shah (Swara) and Varun Kapoor (Sanskaar) -- and Tejaswi Prakash aka Ragini couldn't attend the celebration.

"Nikita Sharma, Sonika Handa, Amar Sharma, Aakanksha Chamola, Tarun Singh and Khyati Mangla came to celebrate the festival. Tejaswi Wayangankar was not in Mumbai, Helly Shah and Varun Kapoor had an early morning shoot that's why they couldn't come for the celebration," said Namish.

Namish shared some pictures from Lohri celebrations on his Twitter handle.
