Rumour mills have been spinning for months now with stories about the possible arrival of quarter-litre fully faired motorcycle Gixxer 250 from the house of Suzuki. Now, it looks like the Indian motor enthusiasts may get a chance to press the throttle of this highly anticipated motorcycle by March 2016.

Although Suzuki Gixxer 250 was expected to be premiered at the recently-concluded 2015 EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan, Suzuki decided to keep it away from the show. Now, a new report of BikeWale says that the Gixxer 250 will be launched in India by March 2016 after its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo.

A little else is known about the technical specifications of new Gixxer 250 motorcycle at this point of time. The motorcycle, which will be based on the copiously tweaked single downtube frame of Gixxer 155, is expected to come with new swing arm, new tyres, improved suspension and ABS. The report also says that the Gixxer 250 is likely to borrow design cues from GSX-R models.
