New Delhi, Nov 28 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday while speaking in the Rajya Sabha said that 39 abducted construction workers in Iraq were alive on the basis of information from six sources, thus contradicting eyewitness' account that they have been shot dead. Swaraj said the information was written and she had shared that information with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and other colleague. However, the foreign minister refused to divulge the identity of source, as it could hamper the rescue efforts, but admitted that government has no direct contact with the abductees. Swaraj said that eye-witness Harjeet was well and was in government's protective care.
