Sushant Singh Rajput's resemblance with MS Dhoni in this old picture makes him apt for the biopic [PHOTOS]

Sushant Singh Rajput is all set to portray the character of Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the upcoming biopic titled "MS Dhoni - The Untold Story." While the actor has worked quite hard to get into the shoes of MS Dhoni, a picture has come up that suggests that Sushant is perfectly apt for the role.

It is a collage of two old pictures that surfaced online, showing the striking resemblance between Sushant and MS Dhoni. The photos of Sushant's and the cricketer's days of youth make it evident that the makers of the biopic have made the right choice.

Sushant has gone to extreme lengths to prepare for this role. The actor has had hours of cricket practice as well as watching Dhoni's style of playing. Some time ago, a video showed Sushant practising on the field and was trying to master MS Dhoni's "helicopter shot." It was seen that the actor actually hit the ball in the same fashion that the Indian skipper is famous for.

Since the teaser of "M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story" has been released, it has managed to leave the people intrigued and curious to know more about the film.

"M.S. Dhoni - The Untold Story" features Sushant Singh Rajput in the titular role alongside Kiara Advani, who will be playing the part of Sakshi Dhoni in the film.

Helmed by ace director Neeraj Pandey, produced by Arun Pandey and Fox Star studios, the film, one of the most anticipated films of the year, is all set to release on Sept. 2, 2016.
