The trailer of forthcoming movie 'Baahubali', which was released online recently, was formally launched on Friday, 5 June. Actor Suriya unveiled the Telugu version of the trailer.

The entire cast including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamanna Bhatia, director SS Rajamouli and crew were present in Chennai to launch the trailer.

This is a good strategic move to help "Baahubali" get good publicity in Tamil Nadu. Adding to that, Kollywood star Suriya's presence will benefit the film big time. We have to note that the actor's cousin KA Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green has procured the Tamil Nadu distribution rights.

"Baahubali" is a historical-fiction directed by SS Rajamouli of "Naan Ee' ("Eega" in Telugu) fame. The movie is said to be made on a budget of ₹175 crore, making it the most expensive film in India. It is simultaneously being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The movie is made in two parts, of which the first instalment will release on 10 July. The second instalment will hit the screens in 2016.

In the film, Prabhas will be seen as Baahubali, Rana Daggubati as Bhalladeva, Tamanna as Avanthika, Sudeep as Aslam Khan, Sathyaraj as Kattappa, Nasser as Pingalathevan, Prabhakar as Kalakkeya, Ramya Krishna as Shivagami, and Anushka Shetty as Devasena.
