The audio launch of Suriya's much-awaited film "Anjaan" is all set take place in a grand manner on 17 July.

Large number of Suriya's fans and several guests will be invited for the audio launch event, revealed Dhananjayan Govind of UTV Motion Pictures, co-producer of "Anjaan."

Directed by Lingusamy, "Anjaan" is touted to be a gangster flick with Suriya reportedly playing a dual role. The film also has Samantha, Soori, Vidyut Jamwal, Dalip Tahil, Manoj Bajpai and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles. The shooting of "Anjaan" has been wrapped up and the post production work is on in full swing. The film's team has already released the first look posters of the film in May and they received overwhelming response from fans. "Anjaan" teaser will be released on 5 July at around 10 pm on YouTube.

Actor Arya has reportedly seen the rough cut trailer of "Anjaan" and has given positive feedback about it. The actor has said that the video is a mass entertainer.

"Boss #Arya has seen the #Anjaan rough cut trailer. Called & told that it is too good & mass. He quite liked it & wished us success. Thx Bos," Govind tweeted.

"Anjaan" is slated to hit screens on 15 August for the Independence Day weekend. The film is expected to clash with other biggies like Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty's "Singham Returns" (Hindi), Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables 3" (Hollywood) and Jr NTR's "Rabhasa" (Telugu) at the worldwide box office. There has also been a buzz that Simbu's much-delayed "Vaalu" might hit screens for the Independence Day weekend. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.

"Anjaan" is Suriya's first release of 2014 and is going to hit theatres more than a year after his last film "Singam 2" released. "Singam 2" was one of the biggest Tamil film hits of 2013 and Suriya will be hoping to score another hit with "Anjaan."

The action packed entertainer, set in the backdrop of Mumbai, will reportedly have Suriya in dual roles. The film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is handled by Santosh Sivan.
