"Supreme" has witnessed a good collection at the worldwide box office in its eight-day first week, but has failed to beat the record of "Subramanyam For Sale" (SFS) to become the highest grosser for Sai Dharam Tej.

"Supreme," which was released in 650+ screens across the globe on May 5, got good opening and grossed Rs. 6.50 crore (Rs 4.64 crore share) at the worldwide box office on the first day. The film became the biggest opener for Sai Dharam Tej, beating the opening records of his movies "Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham" (Rs 2.75 crore share) and "Subramanyam For Sale" (Rs. 5.43 crore gross/Rs 3.68 crore share).

The Anil Ravipudi-directorial mass entertainer fared well at the ticket counters across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and other parts of India on the following days. But its business dipped in the international markets. "Supreme" collected Rs 15.30 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the first weekend and it earned Rs 9.93 crore to its global distributors in four days.

The Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna starrer showed drop in its collection on Monday and maintained rock-steady pace on other weekdays. On weekdays, "Supreme" collected approximately Rs 6.50 crore gross at the worldwide box office, taking its first-week gross total to Rs 21.80 crore. The movie is estimated to have earned Rs 13.88 crore for its distributors in eight days.

Sai Dharam Tej's debut movie "Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham" has earned a share of Rs 7.85 crore at the worldwide box office in first week. His third movie "Subramanyam For Sale" became the highest grosser for him, by earning a share of Rs 14.07 crore (Rs 22.10 crore gross) in its opening week. His latest film "Supreme" was expected to beat this record, but it has fallen behind by a small margin.
