Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan's break-up has never gotten in the way of their friendship, which is why they often met up at social gatherings, but their recent interactions have been blown out of proportion courtesy the former's rumoured split with Ranbir Kapoor. The "Fitoor" actress skipped Arpita Khan Sharma's baby shower to steer clear of link-up rumours with Khan, SpotboyE reports.

The leading lady is doing great professionally, but there's a lot happening on the personal front. Tired of reports of Khan confirming her and RK's split, she said she hadn't read any such news, adding she would like to talk about "Fitoor" more than anything else. "I think that thing has become old now. I think that page has been turned. I feel so...as per the rumours that I have been hearing," the "Sultan" actor had told the Indian Express.

Sure she doesn't wish to answer questions that are remotely related to the Kapoor scion, but Katrina has dropped oblique hints in some interviews about why they called it quits. Talking to DNA about that one thing she wouldn't accept when in love, she said it's unfair in a relationship to control the other person's actions. "Let's rephrase it a bit. One thing I feel is essential in a relationship is honesty. Also, a little kindness and being true to your words help," she elaborated.

While all this is on, there have been rumours that the Brit import has been blaming Deepika Padukone for the cracks in her equation with Ranbir Kapoor. "The time Ranbir spent with Deepika promoting 'Tamasha' was when his relationship with Katrina developed snags and problems," a source told Deccan Chronicle.

In other news, Kapoor and Kaif will be next seen in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos."
