With the year 2016 coming to a close, Google has revealed information about what people searched for throughout the year. The internet search giant has made a list of top trending topics across different categories, giving us all an idea of what dominated its search engine in 2016 in India.
According to Google, entertainment and sports attracted the highest number of searches on its search engine. The year's biggest blockbusters Sultan - starring Salman Khan - and Rajnikath's Kabali took the top spots in the trending movies category, while Rio Olympics 2016 ruled sports-related searches.
