The 27th edition of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament gets underway on March 3 in Malaysia. The India hockey team, which hasn't won the trophy in this decade, will be looking to check that expection off.
The Australia hockey team has won the tournament a record nine times. Australia are a part of the tournament this year, but the 2018 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup doesn't feature Pakistan, who have won the trophy three times.

India: Five times
Pakistan: Three times
All matches will be played at the Azlan Shah Stadium in Malaysia. The tournament is an invitational one. A win awards a team three points while a draw awards one.
